Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro: Printing issue

It seems like this problem has never been resolved.  I’ve been experiencing this for months and even quick print doesn’t work.  It seems crazy that I’m paying for Adobe but need to default everything to Edge so I can print PDFs without having to save them fist.  I’d love to know when this is going to be fixed as it is truly frustrating and time consuming

    Hi @LeaLea001

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how disruptive this can be, especially when it affects day-to-day printing workflows.

Based on the information provided, it appears that some users are able to print successfully using Quick Print, while printing through the standard Print dialog either fails or does not complete as expected. Since the behavior appears to affect some systems but not others, we would like to gather a few additional details to better understand the environment and identify any common factors.

    Could you please provide:

    • The Acrobat or Acrobat Reader version currently installed (Help > About Acrobat)
    • The operating system and version
    • Whether the issue occurs with all PDF files or only specific documents
    • The printer model(s) affected
    • Whether the issue occurs when selecting "Print as Image" from Advanced Print Settings
    • Whether the PDFs are opened locally, from email attachments, or from a network location

If possible, please also share a short screen recording showing the workflow from opening the PDF through the failed print attempt.

This information will help determine whether the issue is related to Acrobat, printer drivers, Windows print services, or a recent environmental change.

    Thank you for your patience.
