Question

Adobe says I am not signed in or have connection to the internet

Tried to create a PDF from a Word document but Acrobat keeps saying I can only do that while signed in and connected to the internet. When I click on help or go to preferences, Acrobat recognises that I am signed in, but inside the application it shows the 'sign in' option and doesn't let me use the app. On all other Adobe apps and the website I am signed in, and there are no issues with my internet connection. Is there anywhere I could start looking for a solution to this? I've already tried signing out and back in, with no luck.

I have tried all the resets and trouble shootsing.

Hi Laura,

Thanks for reporting this to us.

Tried to create a PDF from a Word document but Acrobat keeps saying I can only do that while signed in and connected to the internet. When I click on help or go to preferences, Acrobat recognises that I am signed in, but inside the application it shows the 'sign in' option and doesn't let me use the app.

Did you use the Adobe PDF maker plugin to convert the word file to PDF or just try to save the word file using "Save as PDF"?

The above information shows that the PDF maker plugin doesn't let you convert the file and continue to ask for Sign In information.

Refer to this help article https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-acrobat-pdfmaker-problems-office.html  and try the steps suggested under " Troubleshoot conflicts with other macros in Microsoft Word "

If it still doesn't work. Then remove the Acrobat application once and reinstall it.

Use cleaner for removal: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Download from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

*This would help install and activate the Acrobat plugin into MS Office.

Thanks,

Akanchha

None of this did anything. I still can't use any features on Acrobat Pro DC because it says I am not logged in no matter how many times I log in.
