How can I create an Adobe PDF so document cannot be edited once shared??

    Like any lock PDF security mostly keeps honest people out. If the viewer can print it, they can then scan and OCR the page. Some 3rd party PDF software can open any PDF (I do not know these companies, I've never tried using one).

     

    Nonetheless, the security on Acrobat PDFs is good, very good. It's just not infalable. What you need to do is to balance the nature of the content with the exposure that the PDF will get. Unfortunately, you cannot guarentee 100% security — no one can.
