Adobe showing full UNC to Group Policy deployed printers where every other program showing just printer names

My organization is currently experiencing the following issue:

When a user attempts to print from any Adobe product, the printers are all showing as the full UNC path \\server\printername, whereas all other applications on the workstations show just the printer name.

Here is an example of the printers using Adobe:

Whereas all other applications show just the printer names without showing the \\server\ portion of the path.

How can this be corrected?
