Adobe sign and send - what the heck happened?

I use Adobe sign and send several times per month for contracts and payment documents.  It's a very important tool for my business.  I logged in this morning, and saw that the format reverted to a terrible user interface from like 2 years ago.  It is without question an unusable mess.  The UI that I've been using for the last few months has been less than perfect, but workable.

Was there an update that was not announced?  Is there a way to change to the more usable user interface?  I'm talking specifically about the area in which I apply form fields to the documents, assign them to signers, and place/size the form fields on the paper.
