Adobe Spellcheck

Question

Spellcheck for an Adobe PDF does not seem to be working for me. I will use spellcheck in Adobe and will receive a message that "no misspellings found." However, when I review the document I will find a misspelled word or two. I have also intentionally misspelled words to see if Adobe spellcheck with catch them. It does not, and I will still get a "no misspellings found."

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to get Adobe spellcheck to work?

The spell-checker in Acrobat only checks comments and form fields, not the actual static text in the file.

To do that requires using a script, like this (paid-for) one I've developed, which also has a lot of additional features the built-in checker doesn't: https://www.try67.com/tool/acrobat-spell-check-suite
