Adobe Stamps not Saving

We have a department who wishes to use adobe stamps, however when they go into the stamp creation and add a new vendor to the stamp, it will stick in the drop down selection for the time where adobe remains open, however once Acrobat is closed, once your reopen it the saved vendor is gone and must be re-added. Does anyone know why adobe stamps would work this way?

This is the directory where the .pdf file for our stamps lives as well as the corrosponding Javascript file on our end user PC's.

%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\2017\Stamps

Would it make any difference if you move the  stamper and the jscript altogether from the roaming profile to another location?

Perhaps? I'm honestly learning the ins and outs of Adobe's stamp functionality. Is there a specific location you would recommend or would any folder work?

Well is just that it seems like the roaming profile directory is not the correct place to store a plugin or file like that one . I think Iread that somewhere in the old forums months ago. But i normally would create my own folder in the desktop or anywhere else where i can have manual control of it and not in temporary folders... that is a bad idea.  See Microsoft guidance here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/desktop/legacy/bb776892(v%3Dvs.85)
