adobe standard file merging error.

Everytime i try to merge to word documents it keeps saying error, i have reinstalled the app a couple of times, currently using adone standard , dont know what to do,.... honestly quite frustrating 

that what is says all the time and then adobe isn't responding

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

 

You mentioned merging files, but the screenshot shows you were trying to select files to get responses from Acrobat AI Assistant.

Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the workflow you follow for a better understanding and corect troubleshooting?

Hi @otu_6940 ,

 

Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please confirm the following : 

 

1. Ensure that you are on the latest version of Acrobat. Go to Help > Check for updates. We have made some fixes around this area.

2. Can you try adding the word document from the "Select files" option present under "Recommended tools for you" under home view.
