Yea, Adobe is finished.

I've converted 3 businesses to move away from Adobe and onto Affinity (which is far superior, despite being 'new')
Currently I'm helping a large digital marketing agency to ditch Adobe - mainly to save the company on spending over $30k a month - when Affinity (which does exactly the same thing but even better and faster) is a fraction of that cost.

And if they need to edit video - Davinci Resolve is more than adequate (cheaper and more fun and reliable too!)

There is literally no good  or logical reason to stay with Adobe anymore - unless you're trying to sabotage your business or something.

There are too many better alternatives to Adobe that are cheaper.  Adobe gets worse withevery new version!

@Michael26830795jv2m sometimes Adobe isn't for everyone. Although, Adobe Acrobat are known for their security for their PDFs, and unfortunately, many so-called PDF apps on Play and App Store are just malware, like many of us here prefer Adobe.

I dunno you, but, I don't use the extension. And maybe that's the problem, you need to use the Adobe software from Adobe's website and not a third party website. If it isn't an official Adobe product or is pirated version, well, that could b the issue, not Adobe being a crappy product...

  1. Adobe’s practices are terrible. The company themselves is the problem.  They literally steal everyone’s artwork to use in their AI, they don’t offer support if you’re not paying for a paid plan (but their software still needs support either way), and they think that stuff we can get for free should cost thousands of dollars.

  2. If you’re downloading malware, maybe try reading the review and doing some research before you download stuff? App stores and play stores generally have these, and you can look for info elsewhere if they don’t.

  3. Adobe makes crappy products too.  I’ve got Acrobat and its updater blocked from starting, even when Windows starts but for whatever BS reason I still have to close the updater several times per day.  No matter how hard I try, there’s always some Adobe process running, launching stuff, and stealing my information.  Since Adobe doesn’t allow people using the free version to contact support at all (which should be illegal), it’s basically a middle finger to me several times every god damn day.

If we can’t control their product behavior and we can’t contact support, wtf are we supposed to do?  We’re left with one option, STOP USING THEIR CRAP.  I literally used their trial version for 1 day and it’s been headaches and BS ever since.  I’ve LITERALLY only regretted using their product as a result.  How exactly is this supposed to convince me to pay for their products?

I’m here right now because Adobe has refused to allow me to ask how to keep the updater from launching constantly, so you can thank them for this response too.
