adobe update

I attempted to open an application on my computer and it told me I did not have the latest adobe update. I tried downloading and installing the latest adobe but I am still getting the error message.

adobe is a company (that makes many programs), not a program so it makes no sense to talk about updating adobe.

otoh, you're not alone being confused about adobe and adobe acrobat/adobe acrobat reader.  do you have the free reader program from adobe or a license for adobe acrobat?  (or something else even more confusing?)
