Can I use base functionality in Adobe to automatically transfer information in file (i.e. spreadsheet) to a fill-in PDF creating multiple PDF's for each row on the input table?

If you mean can it be done from the built-in menus in the application itself, then the answer is no.

I just want to clarify that the PDFMaker plugin is a part of Acrobat and gets installed with it automatically, on Windows machines. It's not some kind of add-on.

Yes, this functionality exists in the PDFMaker for some versions of Office.

It can also be done using a script, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Mail Merge and Email

Well sounds by your comment the answer is no, the base line Adobe product does not accommodate a mail merge functionality and you are suggesting the PDFMaker add in for Office or developing a script could possibly accommodated this functionality.  Is that a fair recap?
