Question

Adobe will not let me combine multiple files into one PDF because files "can't convert"

I am very frustrated with Adobe Acrobat right now because I am trying to combine multiple PDF files into one single PDF file, and Adobe will not let me. It shows little yellow exclamation-point-triangles on a few of the files and says "it does not support the conversion of one or more of my files to PDF." Even though 5 of them are PDFs. I do not want to make a PDF Portfolio, I want one SINGLE PDF file.

Have you tried converting all files into pdf before combining? Also, if some of the pdfs are showing a message, are they password protected? Try File> Save as> PDF/X-4 to the problematic pdfs, sometimes that fixes minor issues.
