Question

Adobe won't save my default add text font

Hello,

I'm trying to change my default font for add text.  However, every time I change the font in Preferences and then close Adobe, it reverts to the "Let Adobe Choose" option.  If anyone has an idea of how to save my default font selection so I don't have to change this every time, it would be appreciated!  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program.  Thanks!

Hi JHSimmonsAOD,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please share the Acrobat and OS version on your machine. This seems to be weird behavior.

We will get this checked and share more information with you.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thanks! My Adobe version is 2023.006.20360 64-bit.  I am running Windows 10 Enterprise Version 21H2 (OS build 19044.3448).

Hi JHSimmonsAOD,

Thank you for sharing the information.

Please try updating the application to the latest version (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html). Reboot the machine after updating.

Check if you experience the same behavior.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
