Adobe X won't register

I just reformatted my hard drive and needed to reinstall Adobe X.  Now it wants me to register the product. Each time I put in my user name and password I get  message back stating that it cannot register me at this time, and to try back later. This has been going on for days, so something else is wrong. Help !  Thanks.

I think you can, and should, register older versions, but you can only register it once. The issue might be that Acrobat X is quite old and not compatible with the current OS, like Windows 10. You can try running it in Compatibility Mode and it might help solve this problem.

hi,

you can't register an old program like acrobat x, and you don't need to register it.
