AdobePDF.dll is missing

I am on a Mac and I have tried everything to get my program to re-install.  On another thread someone said to go into my Library/App Setup/Adobe/SLStore and to find the AdobePCD and erase and change settings.  The problem is I don't have the SLStore or the AdobePCD files anywhere on my computer.  I even called Apple and did a screen share and they said they were not there.'

So I have gotten my new serial number, uninstalled, reinstalled and every time I try it I get an error message that says my code is invalid.  When I installed I never got a window (in step #8) that lets my find the AdobePDF.dll.  I did a search for the file and it isn't found.

Any ideas?  I appreciate the help!

You can use adobepdf.dll at this location C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF\AMD64\ADOBEPDF.DLL

I looked on my computer and it was indeed in the folder it says!

Also my Adobe PDF.dll was under my Adobe Acrobat Professional folder in the Data 1 Cabinet (again Windows not Mac)

Not sure if this will help as I do not know Mac computers at all. I just checked my Windows computer and the Adobe pcd folder did not show up when I did a search for it but when I looked further I found it under my Program Files(X86) in the Common Folder then under the Adobe folder inside of that. It was not in the regular Adobe folders.

I am still struggling with finding the Adobe PDF.dll file.

I get to Program Files (x86)

    Common Files

    Adobe

then I have several folders still... any thoughts?
