AdobeResourceSynchronizer wants to use your confidential information

I keep getting the following pop-up on my MacBook Pro: AdobeResourceSynchronizer wants to use your confidential information stored in "v3.services.acrobat.com" in your keychain.  I tried to follow the steps shown in previous responses to this problem but when I search Adobe Resources Synchronizer in my Applications folder or on my hard drive, it doesn't come up. It's not anywhere on my computer. In the Applications folder, I have

     Adobe (containing Flash Player > Addins>airappinstaller>airappinstaller & digest.s) and Adobe Help.app

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro (containing Acrobat Distiller.app, Acrobat Uninstaller, Adobe Acrobat Pro.app, FormsCentral For Acrobat.app)

     Adobe Application Manager

     Adobe Bridge CS6

     Adobe Digital Editions.app

     Adobe Extension Manager CS6

     Adobe Flash CS6

     Adobe Media Encoder CS6

     Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.app

The pop-up comes up even when I'm not using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader. And I don't have a password even if I had wanted to allow access, which I don't. I don't even know if the problem is coming from Adobe Acrobat XI Pro or Adobe Reader.

How can I get rid of this pop-up forever?

Lynne

There was a recent update to Acrobat Pro DC (2019.012.20036) this week and also a security bulleting published yesterday addressing vulnerabilites .

If you haven't done so, see if applying the update and restarting the computer after the update helps

Hi! It depends on what type of PDF user you are. If you just need to view, fill and sign, comment print and save copies of PDF documents you can always count with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC which is free. But if you are a power user who is always designing and editing forms you are better off with the paid subscription. I am not sure which version of Adobe Acrobat you have and if you purchse it and have a license. Also which operating system do you have? It is possible to run older versions of Acrobat in (up to ) Windows 10. There are hiccups in the process (specially with some printing features) but it is still possible.
