@MarinaOmaata While the interface might only dedicate four characters to the page count, thankfully, this limitation in display doesn't actually restrict Acrobat's ability to handle and navigate PDFs with more than 9,999 pages. The underlying system can certainly understand and go to higher page numbers. To navigate to a page beyond 9,999, you'll likely need to manually enter the full page number in the "Go to Page" dialog (usually Ctrl Shift N (PC) or Cmd Shift N (MAC) rather than relying solely on the visual display in the toolbar. While the truncated display is inconvenient for large documents, the functionality to access any page number should still be there. It's more of a user interface quirk than a fundamental limitation of Acrobat's processing capabilities.
