After a PDF is run through OCR, it will not save.

Question

I am running 24.002.20991

When I run a PFD through the scan & OCR, it will convert the pages fine. However, when I try to save the document, I receive an error message: "This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (14)."

Any workaround?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

Do you see this with a specific file or with all?

If with a specific file, it might be due to some corrupt aritfacts within the file, preventing Acrobat from making the changes.

You might want to try Printing the file as a PDF, re-run OCR and try again. This should optimize the file, and remove any corrupted items from the file.
