After update, Acrobat Pro crashes within 25 seconds

I was so surprised when I opened a PDF document someone sent to me. I needed to delete 2 pages from it before passing it along to the next person. It kept closing, time after time. I finally got a timer, and the time from pressing to open the file was less than 15 seconds most of the time.

I followed the instructions to reinstall Acrobat, but nothing changed. Please let me know what other information you might need from me. I have a Windows 10 laptop up-to-date. I verified my Creative Cloud plan includes Acrobat Pro on the desktop.
