AI has ruined the usefulness of Acrobat PDF Reader

How do I get rid of the AI extension that has auto added itself to Acrobat PDF Reader ... it has made documents take forever to load and even longer to change from one page to the next ... this was a far more useful product before they stuffed it up with this AI addition ... please tell me how to get rid of it??

I have to completely agree that the inclusion of AI within Adobe Acrobat is a complete disaster for the product and does absolutely nothing to improve productivity… in fact, it makes things even worse and much slower. I have one of the fastest i9 laptops on the market with a powerful graphics card and 32GB of RAM. Yet with AI switched on in Acrobat, it slows to a crawl.  Adobe either REALLY need to test their products and innovations before general release, or don't try and fix what isn't broken or they think we need. Thank God, we can switch it off.  I certainly wont be using it

Good quesition. And F Adobe for having this, then wanting more money on top of their ridiculous subscription fees.

In Acrobat you can disable it via Menu - Preferences - Generative AI, but I don't see a similar item in Reader.

Why do you think it's the AI feature that's causing these issues, though?

Because they started exactly when AI installed itself ... a really good way
to know for sure would be to uninstall it and see if things return to
normal!!
