Align multi-line form fields to left middle

Hi,

I have several Adobe Acrobat forms where I have created a multi-line form field for entering text. What I would like to do is format the text inside the box to format so the text always aligns to the lef middle of the cell. For example, if I have one line of text,  that line of text aligns to the middle of the cell. If there are three lines of text, the second line alings to the middle of the cell etc. I can left align the text as there is a drop down box in the text filed properties that allows me to left justify. What I can't find is a way to justify the text so it always sits in the middle of the cell. How do I do this?

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024.0002.20991

I hope someone can help me

Kind regards

Robert Smith

In the options tab of the field properties, select Multi-line and Allow Rich Text Formatting.  Close the properties and put the cursor inside the text field.  Press Ctrl + e and a formatting toolbar will display.  Click the 'More' button.  Select the paragraph tab.  Under the Alignment section, select Text Middle (second icon from the right).

Be aware, though, that this setting is not "sticky". If you clear the field (or reset the form) it will return to the default setting.

Correct.  Too bad there's not script for this extra Rich Text alignment setting.
