Allowing others to save a fillable PDF

Hello,

I am a school administrator working on a bit of a time crunch here, so any help would be appreciated! I created a fillable PDF document in the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC app. It is a release form for our summer school program, so families would fill it out, and send it back to me. I tested it with a colleague, and she said that when she tried to save it, all of the text deleted. Is there something I can do as the creator of the document to enable other users to Save this PDF without losing all of their text?
