Apple iPad pencil

I want to use my Apple Pencil to annotate PDFs in adobe acrobat, can this be done? Every other app recognises my pencil except adobe, though acorbat does recognise touch drawing without the pencil. Any suggestions? I’ve already wasted hours down similar threads and had no success.
