Apple products compromised

Are apple phones able to be broken into from a desktop computer? A few dates have changed on my adobe acrobat generated court documents and I did not change them. I have my signature on my adobe acrobat app and it wouldn’t be the best thing if some of my files and signature were compromised. Is there anything I can do other than sue the company?

Yes, there are ample reports that Apple phones can be compromised. But it is very improbable that you were targeted, except if you are a journalist in an authoritarian country, or you are a bearer of crucial secret information from a big country.

Short answer is yes, it can be done. There are entire companies that specialize in exactly this type of (offensive) cybersecurity, and they sell their products to various governments and organizations, for a LOT of money. The question is, why would someone want to do that to you, and just to change the date of a PDF file? Usually there's a much simpler reason.

Anyway, suing Apple is not likely to get you anywhere. They have tons of money and lawyers and complex legal agreements (that you agreed to when you started to use their products) to protect themselves exactly from this type of liability. Also, proving that you were hacked to (and that it was someone else's fault) is very difficult.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
