Sorry for the trouble you are experiencing. 
Launch Acrobat > Help Menu > Repair Installation. If you are using Classic Viewer. 
If you use Modern Viewer > Click on the Hamburger icon > Help > Repair Installation. Once the repair is done, try restarting your machine if possible. And once it is done try to check again. 

If repair doesn't help, let us know the following:

 

- Is this happening at launch?
- Or during any workflow?
- Let us know the version number of the Operating system and Application installed on the machine

Apologies - This is a coorporate installation. We are presently looking at updating from DC May 2024 (24.002.20759) to DC June 2024 (24.002.2089x). 

We have seen a 5% rise in device performance effected.
