Application Manager Missing or Damaged when installing Acrobat DC

I have recently attempted to install Adobe on a new computer.  Whenever I attempt to run Acrobat DC I get this message and it will not run.  I have downloaded the application manager from two places and this is still happening.

Is there a solution for this?

install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.
