Arial font no longer available

Question

As of this afternoon I’m no longer able to use the Arial font in Acrobat. If I type into a new textbox with this “tmp” font, I get unreadable symbol gibberish. Using Arial is important for the project I’m working on.

Are you working with Acrobat on Windows or Mac?

Which operating system, and which version and type of Acrobat are you using? How are you inserting text into your Acrobat PDF?

Is Arial used as a font in your PDF already?
