as soon as I put down a line, arrow, etc, it immediately disPPEARS. SO FRUSTRATING

I am trying to mark up some arch. plans with notes (text boxes, arrows, and lines).  I will place the arrow and as soon as I "release" (not sure what this term would be), it disappears.  Opacity set to 100%, shows up in comments as I did whatever I did.  It is just not visible.  Why do I pay acrobat to edit PDFs when they dont edit???!!!

    p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
