Assistance identifying embedded (?) font used in a pdf file

Good morning community,

New member here, and probably asking a common question, so I do apologize.

I am using a GNU GPL software that exports data to a finished PDF once saved. However, the creators have a used font that I do not have on my laptop. At this time I can not find a way to read the finished product; the data just shows up as black dots, almost "radio button like" in appearance in the fields.

Is there any way to look "Behind the scenes" on the finished sheet to find the name of the font so that I can locate and download the OTF?

Try File > Properties, and click the Fonts tab. Or ask the document creator to "embed all fonts", which should get around the problem for everyone reading it.
