Attach File with Link-"not signed in"

I have been using the Acrobat Attach File with Link feature for a while now.  All of a sudden it has stopped working and i get the message "You are not signed-in to Acrobat. Please open Acrobat, sign-in and retry".  I am signed in to Acrobat. Restarted outlook, rebooted and still not working.

I'm on windows 10, Outlook 2016 and Acrobat Pro DC 2020.

Hi,
++ To what Meenakshi has asked.
Could you please let us know if the issue still persists ?
Please check if Acrobat prompts to sign-if if you click "Shared by you"/"Shared by others" tabs in left pane.
Kindly sign-out and then sign-in into Acrobat and recheck.

Regards,
Arvind

While is is 2 years ago since this question was posted, it happend to me this week.   perhaps due to my windows upgrade?   who knows.    I had to go to my app search bar, typed adobe, clicked Creative Cloud desktop,   then Acrobat and PDF, then Acrobat and Launch, then it fixed it.

Hey MoCleveland!

Thank you for reporting this.

As per your description, when attaching a file using the Link feature, you receive an error message.

Could you please share the exact workflow you are using to attach the file? Share the Acrobat version number.

It would be helpful if you can share the screenshots or the video of the issue occurring at your end.

I will also suggest signing out of the Acrobat or the CC application (if installed on the machine). reboot the machine once and then sign in to the Acrobat again. Check if that makes any difference.

Please ensure the application is updated to the latest version. You may check the information on the latest update here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I have encountered the same problem using the Adobe Document Cloud plug-in for Outlook. I have also followed Adobe's suggested fix of restarting Outlook and rebooting, with no success. I'm awaiting a call-back from Adobe support for further assistance resolving the issue, which creates a significant hang-up for me in doing my work. I look forward to reading helpful advice from others on this forum.

Hi Luigi,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.

Could you please confirm if you are using the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC application?

Did you try to signing out and then singing in again to the application?

Would you mind sharing the screenshot ora small video of the issue?

We will be waiting for your response.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

What does Outlook have to do with this issue? Are you opening the file inside of it?
