Autmoatically open pdf after downloading

Hello.I  use  chrome for  downliadng pdf.I  set >open pdf  via chrome.When  clik  to  save it  to my C drive  after  downloading automatically  reopen bt  acrobat  reader..........I  am not  sure  if  it happened in  the past

Any idea  how  to  stop  from  opening  after dwonloading to  my C drive?

    Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

     

    Please try the steps below and see if that works:

     

    1. Open Chrome browser
    2. Click on three vertical dots in the top right corner
    3. Go to Settings > Downloads.
    4. Toggle on the option 'Ask where to save each file before downloading'

    Thank you  for your response.I choose :delete  >some  files  will  open aftre downloading this  cause the issue.Periodically  reapaeras.I do not  knoq why.The  option >ask wheer  to  save  each  file  was allready enable
