Hello @KazuT
I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.
The behavior you are seeing is due to Acrobat’s autofill cache for form fields. Acrobat remembers what you’ve previously typed into text fields (including initials, names, email, etc.) and keeps suggesting them, even if they don’t appear under Settings > Forms > Edit Entry List. That list only manages saved form entries, not the typing history cache. The typo is stored in Acrobat’s local form field history cache, which is separate from the editable “Saved Entries” list. That’s why you don’t see it listed under “Edit Entry List.”
- Open Acrobat (Reader or Pro).
- Go to Preferences:
- Windows:
Menu > Preferences
- Mac:
Acrobat > Preferences
- Navigate to Signatures.
- Under Identities & Trusted Certificates, click More.
- Look for your saved initials and signature entries.
- Select the incorrect entry and click Remove.
Alternatively, if the initials were saved via Fill & Sign:
- Go to All Tools > Fill & Sign.
- Click on the initials box.
- When the saved initials appear, hover over them and click the trash icon to delete.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
