Auto tag in Adobe Acrobat adding random brackets

Question

Hello,

When I try to autotag a PDF, random brackets are added around the equations making the document unusable. I have attached a tagged and untagged version of the document. You can see the random brakcets on pages 9-17.

How can I fix this?
