Autocad PDF's print offset

When I do a PDF print to FIT on a autocad drawing to a letter size, the PDF will be 1in offset resulting in blank space on the left side and losing drawing info on the right side. How do I correct this? Happens with print to Fit and print to shrink oversize pages.

Fit makes sure that ALL dat fits the given size proportionally. If Atorotate is also on, it centers the print. The smallest borders are imposed by the printer drivers settings, the largest due to the proportional fit. There is no solution to this, except getting the printer driver to advertise smaller borders.

This is by design and is not a problem.

I am not sure this is by design as you say. Perhaps the additional information that the preview show correctly fit on paperspace and the actual print is offset.

I have since discovered by unselecting "Choose paper source by PDF page size" that it removes the offset and prints accurately reflects the preview. This doesn't really solve the issue but provides a simple work around.

Choose paper source by PDF page size should only be used in very rare specific cases, ie printing on roll paper. I keep that off in all cases, even when printing on roll paper.

The phenomena your described is by design.
