Automate Document Processing with Adobe Acrobat and JavaScript

Question

I am looking for a programmer experienced in JavaScript and Adobe Acrobat to write scripts for automating the process of reading barcodes from scanned documents, creating PDF files, and naming each file with the extracted barcode number. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in automating tasks within Adobe Acrobat and a good understanding of OCR processes.

This can't be done using a script in Acrobat. It can't run OCR by itself, nor can it read the contents of a barcode or any other graphical element in the file, only of static text, form fields, comments, etc. You need a more advanced tool for such a task.
