Interested to know if it is possible to automate the process of fillable forms. i.e. Is it possible to have a database created may be in Microsoft Access that links to certain form fields in a PDF document that will automatically update and save a separate document for each entry?
Not via Acrobat. You will need to look for a solution in Access to do it, like some kind of Mail Merge plugin.
It is possible to perform a Mail Merge in Acrobat, but the input to it needs to be a plain-text file and it has to be triggered manually.
