Question

Automatically add a "/" between month, day, and year

Hi, I am setting up a form for a client that needs to have an area that shows dates.  When I go to the text field properties and select Date and mm/dd/yyyy, it forces my client to have to manually put in the / between the month, day and year.

Is there any kind of Javascript that will automatically put the / in for them?

You need to be sure that your customer enters the date the correct way:

Is "1212" now the first month, or the 12th month etc… what is the year, what is the day?

Hi, they're entering it the correct way but at times it's not registering correctly.  So they want an option where they can put it in without having to type in a "/"
