Automating PDF Form Data Export to PDF

I am setting up a PDF form to collect order information. I was hoping to set this up such that when the user submits the form, it automatically exports the data into an excel spreadsheet. I am used to using Microsoft forms but for this application I needed a lot more flexibility. As such, I was wondering if automating this data export process was possible. Thank you.

No, you can't export the data into an existing Excel spreadsheet. You can export it as a text-delimited text file, though, which in turn can be opened in Excel. However, that will not work if the file is going to be used in Reader, only in Acrobat.

Probably through a script.

Hopefully, one or more of our script experts on the forum will reply to your post. @try67 is one, and in the meantime, check his script website for something that might work for you https://www.try67.com/
