I am currently working in a audit company. We are required to put stamps in our pdf files infront of certain words.

For example if the text is "xxx company" then we place a stamp infront or above the text throughout the pdf.

Right now we are doing it manually by searching the name and then inserting the stamp.

Could anyone please tell me if there is a way where I can enter the text and Adobe Acrobat places the stamp on / infront of that text automatically for me ?

Edit :- I need to place stamps infront of the texts, not redact the text

Can you explain how the pdf was created, maybe a simple find/replace could help apply a different formatting to the text you want to highlight. @try67 makes a good point about redacting which is the safest, but, as far as I know, is still a manual process. I am not advanced enough with scripting to recommend a 'find and redact all' tool.

There's a tool in Acrobat that can redact all instances of specific text automatically. You don't need to do it manually or to use a script, unless you want to use a pattern instead of simple text.

This can be done using a script, but what is the purpose of using a stamp for this? If you are trying to hide that word, that is a very bad way of doing it, as it can be easily removed or overcome in other ways. You MUST use the Redaction tool (which has a feature called Redact and Remove Text, that can do exactly what you described) if you want the text to really be gone.

I dont want to redact the text , I just need the stamp besides the text. Lets say this is stamp i'm using "⏳️" and I want my pdf to have the stamp besides / against the word Limited in the pdf.

Then it would look like this :-

Xxx Limited ⏳️ was incorporated in xx time.

Xxx Limited ⏳️ has board members from abc limited ⏳️.

Although I want my stamps to be placed above the texts, I am sure we can figure out later.
