Back to the Future: Acrobat XI is a new software

Last week I opened my old MacBook Pro that I still use from time to time, the Creative Cloud software displayed a red dot so I went to see what it offered... And what a surprise: it prompts me to install a new software called "Acrobat Pro XI".
So I installed it, and then I made the updates offered when it was first launched.

Now on my MacBook Pro I can use:
- Adobe Reader 9
- Acrobat Pro 9

- Acrobat Pro XI

- Acrobat Reader DC 2019

- Acrobat Pro DC 2019 (MacOS El Capitan does not support later versions of Acrobat, this MacBook Pro does not support later versions of MacOS)
They works fine.

A (Dell) computer to work and one to test: ideal for checking the complex functions of my PDF forms!

🙂

Did you have a registered license for it under your account? Maybe it's their solution to the (understandable) complaints about the installers not being available for older versions...

"Did you have a registered license for it under your account?"

Yes.

But it's not available on my PC (Windows 10).

I also noticed that on the Mac, Acrobat Pro DC has disappeared from the Creative Cloud app list of software.

Ha! All I can say is WOW, that's cool. Espeically considering that Acrobat XI has been "End of Life" in 2017.

Enjoy!
