Batch OCR PDFs

I have thousands of PDFs and I know a few are not searchable but I don´t know which ones.

How do I make Adobe acrobat run a batch OCR only on those that are not searchable PDFs, and ignore those that don´t need OCR?

You must first use a Preflight check in an Action to separate PDFs containing text from those that do not.
And then another Action to perform OCR.

Just run OCR on all of them. It will ignore those that already have searchable text.

I tried, and it does not do that. It overruns the OCR of each file that already is searchable. So it will take months to finish

That's odd. What's your exact version of Acrobat?
