bates numbering action, numbering mulitlple PDF files at once

I have the action setup to run a preflight that duplicates the page then i need it to number 1-25 and save/print, everything works if i select 1 PDF at a time but if i try to select say 10 PDF files it will number them 1-250 is there anyway to make it number 1-25 on each PDF wile being able to select as many PDF files as i want? i have hundreds of files i need to do this too.
