Best way to update a table in a form without losing form fields

In Word I created a form using tables, I then used Prepare Form in Adobe Acrobat to turn the document into a PDF fillable form. Now they want changes to the document table how do I do this without losing all the form fields?

    Create a new static PDF file and then use the Replace Pages command on the old file to replace the old pages with the new ones. The fields you added to the old file will remain intact, as well as any scripts, links, comments, etc.
