Better working process on updating pdf files

Hi everyone,

Here is my case, I am working with multiple clients on writing documents.

For current we have files A,B,C and D.

I will read ,high light and make comments on all files.
Meanwhile, the other clients will keep updating the pdf at the same time.

They will add pages, delete pages, change some contents, adding photos while I am still reading the old file.

At some stage, they will send me the updated files and now the problem came.

If I work on their version, I need to manually do all high-light and comment again on those ABCD files and re-read them again.

Otherwise, I have to manually check what had been changed and I have to cut and paste pages etc.(Clients can't tell me what have been changed, as they are client)

Some contents may be missed by careless.

As time past, ABCD files now become A,A.1,,A.2,B,C,C.1,D,D.1,D.2 etc..

This waste lots of time after some stages.

Can anyone give some suggestion? What I had been superscribe is  adobe acrobat DC pro and Indesign.

If adobe have better product on updating pdf, I will give a try on it.

Thanks

You should not be using PDF files, but a format more suitable for real-time

collaboration.

Thanks for giving me suggestion.

Word is a better alternative, for track changes.

However files those client gave me were pdf.

The way the client works, it is as if they send you a handwritten file to typeset, and later a new one. You now have to carefully compare all the words they write. The client needs to understand there is a cost EACH TIME they send you a file, and if they want you to work on it, it will be a new exercise.
