Big PDF files will make Acrobat stuck

the PDF which writes in Chinese has 1820 pages,everything is good when reading before about 1000 pages.you can turn to 1600+ pages,everytime when I scroll a little,Acrobat will get stuck for a few seconds and return to normal.

However,An English PDF which is more than 2000 pages won't be stuck.I‘m not sure whether many pictures in the PDF I upload causes this bug or not.

The PDF stuck in Acrobat won't stuck in other PDF readers,such as google chrome,Microsoft edge.So I think it's a bug of Acrobat,hope it will be fixed soon.

optimized PDF also doesn't work.it runs smoothly by Microsoft Edge and Foxit,so I don't think it's the issue of the PDF itself.Other PDF readers perform good on my computer and it won't be stuck on the user "try67" 's computer,it may be the issue of compatibility.

Acrobat performs good before 1600 pages,it will be stuck after that,I'm not sure 'try67' had tried page 1600+.

Try saving as an optimized PDF, (File> Save as other> Optimized PDF), this may remove the elements that are slowing Acrobat. I would try the Convert smooth lines to curves setting first, and if that doesn't help, try the others. Or select all of the discard options, unless there is something you specifically need to keep.

I did not download your PDF and test this.
