Blacking out tool doesent work

So ive bought adobe acrobat pro, and wanted to black out some documents, the installation is taking forever atleast it says so, i can use all the tools except the one i want to blacking out, it says its currently installing but it allready did for 3hours, pls help

    I assume the 3 hours is after you initially installed Adobe Acrobat. This is not right and I would just cancel it and re-install Acrobat from scratch. To get rid of any “crud” that might survive a normal un-install and give you the same problem again later, I would recommend that you use Adobe’s Cleaner tool to remove as much as possible from the Acrobat installation: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

    Make sure to ONLY use the Redaction tools in Acrobat (Pro) to do that, and to actually apply the redactions after adding them. This is the only secure way of totally removing content from a PDF file.

    As far as I know, you don’t have a special install of the redacting tools, they are part of Pro.

    I’m confused… Is it still installing or just that the redacting tools don’t work _after_ installation.
