Question

Blank White screen when requesting signature

I have been trying to request signatures on Adobe DC.

When doing so I have Receive a big white box appears and Adobe is unresponsive.

The this is from a downloaded PDF and using the desktop app.

Using windows 10 Version 21H1 x64 (KB4023057)

Things I have  tried include:

  1. Checking for updates.
  2. Restarting the machine.
  3. Re-installing Adobe.
  4. Turning off the PDF/A viewing mode.
  5. Remove Adobe Intermediate CA and Adobe Content Certificates.
  6. Remove Adobe user and Adobe App Certificates.

I am not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

We also face the same issue when we have to send CSR documents to our clients who use a different OS like Mac or Linux.

Hi Yannick289671455kyj and Fiinovation CSR,

Thank you for sharing the information.

Please confirm if this happens with all the PDFs you try to add signatures to.

It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of the workflow so we can share it with the team. Also, please share the Acrobat and OS version numbers. We will get this checked.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Same thing happens for me, every time.  Latest version of Windows, Adobe PRO.  You type into the signature boxes and nothing shows up.  I was told that the document has been 'flattened', if that makes a difference.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to send the document for signature and getting the blank screen.

As you have tried most of the things with no success, please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/m-p/4792082 and check.

Also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check and mkae sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to send the documents for signature via Document Cloud - https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ and check if that helps.

Hello team,

Please stop doing update on your product. Each time Adobe team release an update ,the application stop working correctly . I don't think the team tested there update before releasing.

We are still having the signature  issue and the Adobe team has no solution for this.

Would you mind sharing more details about what happens when you try sign the PDF file, a small video recording of the same would be very helpful to further narrow down the issue.
