Blue Text Book Formatting Issue

I have a document that was made by a company that was sent over to me as a template that I could use.  For context, I work at a boarding school.  The company is a sports association in my state that recognizes students at the end of the season for their hard work - essentially printable certificates that we can edit in-house to make sure we get the names/info down correctly.  When entering text in the specific, designated text box, there is a formatting issue.  When typing into a designated blue text box in adobe acrobat, the font is normal when clicked into and typing in the box.  When I click out of the box, the font changes and takes out the spaces between words.  How do I troubleshoot this?
