Question

Booklet as a new pdf and not out of printer

In Adobe Acrobat, I need to create a new pdf with the the printing function Booklet so it organizes directly my pages. But to print outside, not on my printer. How can I add (MacOs Apple) a pdf in the printer selection?
The pdf is already created so I'm not rebuilding in InDesign 😉
Thanks for your suggestions,
Sophiena

Hi sophiena369,

Thank you for reaching out.

If I understand it correctly, you are trying to make the PDF appear in the booklet format. If yes, you can use the following steps:

- Open the PDF in Acrobat.

- Click on the Print icon.

- Select Adobe PDF in the drop-down for the printer on the Print Window.

- Select the Booklet tab under Page Sizing & Handling on the Print Window.

- Click on the Print.

Check if that helps.

For detailed information, refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/ways-print-pdfs.html

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenaskshi,

Thank you so very much for your reply to my request! Unfortunately, I do not have any other option than my printer in the printers' selection. I've seen video about that way but I haven't found how to had the adobe pdf to my printers. The pdf function appears naturally in other software but not in Adobe Acrobat.

Would you have any idea how to add it?
It would make my life so much easier than trying to sort a booklet with many pages manually. And I have many to "print".

Thanks a lot,
Kind Regards,
Sophiena

Did you ever figure this out?   I am in the same position.  I have been searching for days.

I have the PDF, but I need a PDF already in a booklet PDF format so it can print on other public printers like Kinkos.    Every guide I sees shows how to do it to your own printer or if you have a print driver.
