Question

Booklet printing layout issues since last update

Much of our catalogue of sheet music has covers created as A3 landscape spreads (front and back). When collated, the cover PDF is inserted as first and last pages. The first is cropped on the left to A4, and the back cover cropped right. For years this has worked fine.

Now when I print a booklet, the covers look fine on screen preview, but when printed the whole A3 cover is reduced at rotated 90 degrees to fit on A4 (same front and back). If I open the PDF in another program (e.g. PDFX) there is no problem, so I assume error is with Adobe - perhaps a recent update?

At the same time, where covers have a white background they are printing out with a slight tint. Likewise with some, but not all, pages. Again, this wasn’t a problem before. Why?

I don’t know how to start fixing these - any suggestions please?

Can you show your print settings, including the printers?
